Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a Unified Communications Engineer to deliver Level 2 technical support for end users across a wide range of realtime communication services including Instant Messaging, Video Conferencing, Webinars, and Video on Demand. The role is based in Cairo and involves proactive monitoring, preventive maintenance, and vendor coordination to ensure service stability and optimal performance. The individual will also contribute to automation initiatives and continuous improvement of user collaboration experiences.
- Provide daily support for realtime services such as live events, video conferencing, and IM communications.
- Resolve user incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs.
- Conduct daily health checks to ensure service stability.
- Guide users on best practices and promote awareness.
- Implement preventive maintenance routines in coordination with management.
- Innovate and propose automation ideas to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with vendors for change implementations and service improvements.
- Bachelor s degree in Telecommunications or Computer Engineering.
- 1 3 years of experience in technical/application support, preferably in Unified Communications.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical thinking skills.
- Fluent in English with advanced communication abilities.
- ITIL knowledge is essential.
- Proficient in Windows Servers, IIS, Microsoft Power Platform, and M365.
- Familiar with networking protocols (SSH, FTP, SIP, H323), CCNA/CCNP certified.
- Experience with video conferencing tools, VMware, and virtualisation technologies.
- Background in database administration and storage methods.
