Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

· Perform Comprehensive eye tests for Aster Optical Customers.

· Identify the patient’s visual alertness, diagnose vision ailments such as near-sightedness, presbyopia, color blindness etc.

· Promote eye health by advising best practices to keep healthier eyes and comfortable vision.

· Actively recommend and dispense contact lenses.

· Achieve store topline, GP%, Conversion and enhance ATV (up-sell & cross-sell).

· Enhance the store revenue by recommending new business ideas, networking, corporate and clinic tie-ups.

· Foster policies to earn higher NPS, mystery shopping, internal audit and DSES scores as per division’s recommendations.

· Ensure store hygiene and other DHA/MOH/DOH protocols are followed in the store.

· Oversee proper maintenance of optometry instruments and periodic PPM.

· Manage story inventory to reduce stock expiry, stock loss, damage and pilferage.

· Mentor and handhold sales staff to enhance optical and contact lenses practice.

· Maintain accurate medical/insurance files for all the claims submitted from your store.

· Share reports or data as per the requirement of management.

· Guarantee timely escalation of any issue observed to the operations team.

Desired Candidate Profile

· Bachelors in optometry from recognized universities.

· 3 plus years of experience working as an optometrist.

· Must possess UAE medical license for optometry or a valid eligibility letter.

· In-depth knowledge of eye-related disorders and conditions.

· Hands-on experience with eye examination tools, such as retinoscope, phoropter and other subjective techniques.

· Possess excellent communication skills with the ability to explain medical terms in simple words.

· Possess analytic abilities to understand current business trends and suggest offers or promotions.
