Responsibilities

• Optometrists examine eyes and treat vision problems, usually by prescribing ophthalmic or contact lenses, and vision care.
• Examine patients'''''''' eyes with retinoscopy, Ophthalmoscopes, and Slit lamp.
• Make diagnoses, such as nearsightedness or farsightedness, and prescribe lenses or other treatments.
• Refer patients to ophthalmologists when necessary.
• Discover eye conditions caused by systemic problems, such as diabetes or high blood pressure, and refer their patients to other medical doctors.
• Assists customers with product information, selection advice, and records purchases.
• Processes payments, reconciles cash and completes end-of-day reports.
• Keeps clients informed of special sales and new arrivals.
• Maintains a clean, organized store and supports team objectives.
