Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive eye examinations and vision tests
- Prescribe and dispense corrective lenses (glasses and contact lenses)
- Diagnose common eye conditions and refer patients when necessary
- Provide professional advice on eye care, lenses, and eyewear
- Ensure accurate documentation of prescriptions and patient records
- Maintain clinical equipment and ensure hygiene standards
- Comply with company policies and professional regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Optometry
- Valid SCFHS professional license
- Strong communication and patient-care skills
- Ability to work in a retail and clinical environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and peak seasons
- Presentable appearance and professional attitude
