Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) environments.

  • Manage Oracle databases, application servers, and middleware components.

  • Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure system stability and efficiency.

  • Manage patching, cloning, upgrades, and backup/recovery processes for Oracle Applications.

  • Support implementation of new modules and system integrations.

  • Ensure system security, data integrity, and compliance with organizational policies.

  • Provide technical support to functional teams and resolve system issues.

  • Maintain system documentation and standard operating procedures.

  • Coordinate with infrastructure and application teams for system enhancements and deployments.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • 4–8 years of experience as an Oracle Applications DBA.

  • Strong experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) administration.

  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Database administration, RMAN, Data Guard, and performance tuning.

  • Experience in patching, cloning, and upgrading Oracle Applications.

  • Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Oracle certifications (OCP / Oracle DBA).

  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or hybrid environments.

  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and enterprise ERP environments.
