Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Oracle databases
- Monitor database performance, capacity, and availability
- Perform backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures (RMAN)
- Manage database security, user access, and roles
- Troubleshoot database issues and perform root cause analysis
- Apply patches, updates, and database tuning
- Support production and non-production environments
- Maintain database documentation and operational procedures
Desired Candidate Profile
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
- 3 6 years of experience as an Oracle DBA
- Strong experience with Oracle 11g / 12c / 19c
- Hands-on expertise in RMAN, Data Guard, and ASM
- Solid knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL
- Experience with Linux/Unix environments
