Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Proactively monitor database performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks through query optimization and resource allocation to ensure optimal system efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, including performance problems, data corruption, and connectivity issues, to minimize impact on users.
  • Document database configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to ensure knowledge sharing and maintainability.
  • Implement and maintain robust backup and recovery strategies, including testing and validation, to ensure data integrity and business continuity in the event of failures.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Demonstrates 5+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle Database Administrator, with a proven track record of successful database management.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL, with the ability to write complex queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
  • Shows proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell Scripting or Python for automating database tasks.
  • Exhibits excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
