Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Oracle database applications to support business operations and reporting needs.

  • Write efficient and optimized PL/SQL code, stored procedures, triggers, and functions for data manipulation and business logic implementation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, infrastructure, and business analysts to gather requirements and deliver robust solutions.
  • Perform data modeling, normalization, and database schema design to ensure data integrity and optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve database-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and data consistency.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the establishment of best practices for Oracle development.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for database structures, processes, and application workflows.
  • Support database migration, upgrades, and patching activities in coordination with the IT team.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle Developer or in a similar database development role.
  • Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL programming, including writing complex queries, procedures, and triggers.
  • Experience with Oracle database administration tasks such as backup, recovery, and performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with data modeling concepts and database design best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
