Role Summary

Veltech Consultancy Services is looking for an experienced Oracle Fusion SCM Functional Consultant with 4 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion SCM modules, especially Procurement, Purchase Requisition, Purchase Order, Supplier Portal, and Inventory.

The consultant will be responsible for day-to-day functional support, issue resolution, configuration assistance, enhancement support, UAT coordination, documentation, and stakeholder communication. The role requires strong understanding of Oracle Fusion SCM business processes and the ability to work with business users, technical teams, and project stakeholders in an offshore support model.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and support Oracle Fusion SCM modules including Procurement, Purchase Requisition, Purchase Order, Supplier Portal, and Inventory

  • Provide functional support for end-to-end procurement processes including PR creation, PR approval, PO creation, PO approval, receipt, supplier communication, and procurement lifecycle tracking

  • Support Supplier Portal activities including supplier registration, supplier profile management, supplier user access, supplier communication, and transaction support

  • Support Inventory processes including item management, inventory transactions, stock adjustments, receipts, transfers, and inventory issue resolution

  • Analyze and resolve day-to-day functional issues raised by business users

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and support enhancements / Change Requests

  • Support UAT, SIT, production releases, and quarterly patch validation

  • Coordinate with technical teams for reports, integrations, data extracts, workflows, and system improvements

  • Prepare functional documentation, configuration documents, issue logs, process flows, test scripts, and user training materials

  • Monitor recurring issues and recommend process or configuration improvements

  • Ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests as per support priorities and agreed timelines


Required Skills & Experience

  • 4 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion SCM

  • Strong experience in Oracle Fusion Procurement, Purchase Requisition, Purchase Order, Supplier Portal, and Inventory

  • Good understanding of procurement lifecycle from requisition to purchase order, receiving, and supplier coordination

  • Experience in PR / PO approval workflows, document sequencing, procurement configuration, and supplier setup

  • Hands-on knowledge of Supplier Portal functionality and supplier onboarding process

  • Working knowledge of inventory transactions, item setup, receiving, stock movement, and inventory controls

  • Experience in Oracle Fusion SCM implementation, rollout, or production support projects

  • Ability to troubleshoot functional issues and coordinate with technical teams for resolution

  • Good knowledge of OTBI / BI Publisher reports will be an added advantage

  • Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder coordination skills

  • Ability to work independently in an offshore support model

Preferred Qualifications

  • Oracle Fusion SCM Certification

  • Experience supporting UAE / GCC clients

  • Exposure to Procurement Cloud, Self-Service Procurement, Supplier Qualification, Sourcing, or Inventory Management

  • ITIL Certification or experience in IT service management processes

  • Experience working with offshore support teams and business users across different time zones
