Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform complex surgical procedures on the face, jaw, and mouth, including wisdom teeth extractions and reconstructive surgery.
  • Diagnose oral and facial conditions through clinical assessment and imaging techniques, ensuring accurate treatment planning.
  • Collaborate with dental professionals, orthodontists, and other specialists to create comprehensive care plans for patients.
  • Manage pre-operative and post-operative care, including pain management and patient recovery monitoring.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) is required, with a focus on oral and maxillofacial surgery.
  • Completion of a residency program in oral and maxillofacial surgery, typically lasting 4-6 years, is essential.
  • Board certification in oral and maxillofacial surgery is preferred, demonstrating advanced knowledge and expertise.
  • A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in a surgical setting, preferably with a focus on complex maxillofacial cases.
