Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities


  • Provides high-quality care to patients in this area of medicine.
  • Provide consultative service as requested.
  • Supervise fellows, staff/assistant physicians, and residents.
  • Actively participates in the training and teaching of residents and fellows in his area of expertise and Participates in research activities.
  • Participates in committees and other administrative functions as needed.
  • Performs special procedures as privileged.
  • Follows all hospital-related policies and procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS


  • Graduate from a Dental medical school of good standing.
  • Completion of required period of training in specialty and/or Subspecialty
  • Saudi Arab or American /European Board Certification or equivalent.
  • Membership and/or Fellowship status in America and/or Europe or their equivalent and fulfilling the criteria for the consultant as required
  • A certificate recognized by the Saudi commission is a must.
  • Dataflow is a must.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree and a Certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
  • Holds a valid medical license and board certification in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
  • Demonstrates a minimum of 5 years of experience practicing as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, with a focus on complex surgical procedures.
  • Exhibits advanced proficiency in performing a wide range of surgical procedures, including facial trauma reconstruction, orthognathic surgery, and dental implants.
  • Possesses exceptional surgical skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to achieve optimal aesthetic and functional outcomes.
  • Exhibits excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Demonstrates strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with a passion for teaching and guiding residents and fellows.
  • Exhibits a strong commitment to patient safety and ethical practice, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Possesses excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to make sound clinical judgments under pressure.
  • Ability to speak English fluently, with proficiency in other languages is a plus.
