Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provides high-quality care to patients in this area of medicine.
- Provide consultative service as requested.
- Supervise fellows, staff/assistant physicians, and residents.
- Actively participates in the training and teaching of residents and fellows in his area of expertise and Participates in research activities.
- Participates in committees and other administrative functions as needed.
- Performs special procedures as privileged.
- Follows all hospital-related policies and procedures.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate from a Dental medical school of good standing.
- Completion of required period of training in specialty and/or Subspecialty
- Saudi Arab or American /European Board Certification or equivalent.
- Membership and/or Fellowship status in America and/or Europe or their equivalent and fulfilling the criteria for the consultant as required
- A certificate recognized by the Saudi commission is a must.
- Dataflow is a must.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree and a Certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
- Holds a valid medical license and board certification in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
- Demonstrates a minimum of 5 years of experience practicing as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, with a focus on complex surgical procedures.
- Exhibits advanced proficiency in performing a wide range of surgical procedures, including facial trauma reconstruction, orthognathic surgery, and dental implants.
- Possesses exceptional surgical skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to achieve optimal aesthetic and functional outcomes.
- Exhibits excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Demonstrates strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with a passion for teaching and guiding residents and fellows.
- Exhibits a strong commitment to patient safety and ethical practice, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Possesses excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to make sound clinical judgments under pressure.
- Ability to speak English fluently, with proficiency in other languages is a plus.
