Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring all details and special requests are correctly recorded
- Enter orders into the Point of Sale (POS) system with precision and efficiency
- Provide customers with detailed information about menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and pricing
- Upsell additional items or promote daily specials when appropriate
- Communicate order details clearly to kitchen staff and coordinate with the service team for timely order fulfillment
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints with patience and professionalism
- Process payments accurately and provide correct change when necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Stay updated on menu changes, promotions, and company policies
- Assist with other customer service tasks as needed
Desired Candidate Profile
Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Proficiency in using Point of Sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy in order taking and data entry
- Basic math skills for handling orders and payments
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Knowledge of food and beverage items (preferred)
- Previous experience in a similar customer service or order-taking role (preferred)
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus
