Job Title: Orthopedic Surgeon
Job Summary:
An Orthopedic Surgeon is responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing disorders related to the musculoskeletal system, including bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, and muscles. The role involves both surgical and non-surgical treatment of injuries and chronic conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat musculoskeletal conditions and injuries
- Perform orthopedic surgeries (fractures, joint replacements, arthroscopy, etc.)
- Evaluate patients through physical examinations and diagnostic tests (X-rays, MRI, CT scans)
- Develop and implement treatment and rehabilitation plans
- Manage trauma and emergency orthopedic cases
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care
- Prescribe medications and therapies for pain management and recovery
- Collaborate with physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with medical standards and healthcare regulations
Requirements:
- MBBS with MS/MD/DNB in Orthopedics
