Job Description & Responsibilities:

• Key interface with Network Planning to support the technical requirements of all Planning documents
• Design and plan OSP fiber routes for long-haul and metro networks, including underground and aerial pathways.
• Prepare and review civil engineering drawings, fiber layouts, and route survey reports.
• Conduct site surveys, route assessments, and feasibility studies to determine optimal fiber paths.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for trenching, ducting, manhole installation, and reinstatement.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, utility regulations, and safety standards.
• Manage permitting processes and interface with municipalities and utility authorities.
• Prepare and validate BOMs (Bill of Materials) and BOQs (Bill of Quantities) for civil works.
• Supervise construction activities, ensuring adherence to design, quality, and safety requirements.
• Support as-built documentation, network handover, and maintenance readiness.
• Collaborate with the network design and operations teams to ensure seamless fiber deployment.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor s degree in civil engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of telecommunication experience in OSP design and engineering positions.
• Must have knowledge of OSP work, related processes and industry best practices
• Must have working knowledge of market-leading OSP design tools (Hexagon, Intergraph, or similar).
• Excellent knowledge of the English language
• Must have international experience from developed markets.
