Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Installation & Setup:
    Perform on-site installation, commissioning, and setup of professional equipment (e.g., salon equipment, specialized machinery, beauty/spa devices) at client premises.
    Ensure all installations comply with safety standards, manufacturer guidelines, and client specifications.
  • Maintenance & Repair:
    Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment malfunctions or breakdowns at client sites promptly and efficiently.
    Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) as per contracts or company standards to maximize equipment lifespan and minimize downtime.
    Manage and maintain an accurate inventory of spare parts and tools required for field service.
  • Customer Service & Training:
    Provide basic operational training and guidance to client staff on the proper use and routine maintenance of installed equipment.
    Maintain a professional, courteous, and helpful demeanor when interacting with clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
    Escalate complex technical issues to the in-house technical support or management team when necessary.
  • Reporting & Administration:
    Complete detailed service reports, job cards, and maintenance logs for every site visit.
    Manage daily work schedule efficiently to meet service level agreements (SLAs) and appointment times.
    Communicate regularly with the technical service coordinator or manager regarding job status, delays, and client feedback.
  • Compliance:
    Adhere to all company policies, procedures, health, safety, and environment (HSE) regulations while working on client sites.

Duties:

· Installation, maintenance and repair

· adhere to all safety procedures while handling tools, equipment, and materials.

· does site visits to assess technical requirements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure proper execution of all field work.

· fix/repair electrical tool/equipment

· prepare diagnostic report (condition of the equipment)

· inform warehouse coordinator if there are parts needed for repairing the equipment

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Education: Technical Diploma or Certification in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics Engineering, or a relevant technical field.
  • Experience: Proven experience (e.g., 2-5 years) as a Field Service Technician, Outdoor Technician, or similar role, preferably within the beauty/cosmetics equipment, FMCG, or related machinery industry.
  • Technical Skills:
    Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
    Proficiency in reading technical manuals, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
    Competency with basic hand and power tools and electronic testing equipment.
  • Soft Skills:
    Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle a dynamic outdoor schedule.
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Other Requirements:
    Valid UAE/Local driving license and a good driving record is typically required for a field-based role.
    Flexibility to travel extensively within the assigned service area.
