Roles & Responsibilities


Core Responsibilities

  • Solution Design: Define architecture for scalable, secure, and high-performing OutSystems applications.

  • Integration Strategy: Design integrations with external systems (ERP, CRM, APIs, databases).

  • Governance & Best Practices: Ensure compliance with OutSystems architecture guidelines, performance tuning, and security standards.

  • Technical Leadership: Guide development teams, review code, and enforce architectural patterns.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with business analysts, product owners, and clients to translate requirements into technical solutions.


Key Skills

  • OutSystems Platform Expertise: Reactive Web, Mobile Apps, Service Studio, Integration Studio.

  • Architecture Patterns: Microservices, modular architecture, and reusable components.

  • Cloud & DevOps: CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud deployment (Azure, AWS).

  • Database Design: SQL Server, Oracle, or other relational DBs.

  • Security & Performance: Authentication, authorization, and optimization techniques.


Certifications

  • OutSystems Professional Web Developer

  • OutSystems Professional Mobile Developer

  • Years of Experience: Typically, 8–10 years in software development, with 6+ years in OutSystems, Specifically in Design and Architecture of Outsystems.
