Roles & Responsibilities

Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Overhead Crane Service Technician to join our team in Saudi Arabia. This is a hands-on field-based role focused on ensuring the reliable operation, maintenance, and repair of overhead crane systems.


Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and corrective maintenance on overhead cranes and related lifting equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system faults.
- Conduct site inspections, service assessments, and repair works at client facilities.
- Ensure accurate documentation of service reports and maintenance logs Liaise with customers to understand service needs and provide technical support.
- Follow safety protocols and company procedures during all on-site activities
- Assist with crane system upgrades, retrofits, and new equipment commissioning when required.

Desired Candidate Profile


Required Qualifications & Skills:

- Proven experience in maintenance and repair of heavy equipment or industrial systems.
- Strong technical knowledge in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing overhead cranes (bridge cranes, gantry cranes, hoists).
- Demonstrated experience with crane controls, drives, motors, and mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with control systems, sensors, VFDs, and PLCs is an advantage.
- Hands-on field service experience in industrial or construction environments.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in various site conditions.
- Familiarity with overhead cranes or lifting systems is a plus.
- Technical diploma or vocational certification in mechanical/electrical/electromechanical disciplines preferred.

Additional Information:
The role requires physical work including climbing and working at heights Will involve travel within Saudi Arabia for field service assignments Flexibility for emergency service calls and overtime is expected.
