Roles & Responsibilities

Job Purpose
The Overseas Executive is responsible for building and maintaining strong partnerships with international freight forwarding agents and logistics networks. This role drives global business development, ensures competitive service offerings through agent collaboration, and maximizes routing nominations and opportunities generated from global logistics networks.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Establish, manage, and strengthen relationships with overseas agents and partners across multiple countries.
  • Represent the company in international logistics networks and ensure active participation.
  • Secure routing nominations, inbound/outbound business opportunities, and cross-trade shipments from partners and networks.
  • Coordinate closely with internal operations (air, sea, and land), customs clearance teams, and customer service to deliver high-quality service for overseas shipments.
  • Negotiate freight rates and service agreements with international agents and network contacts.
  • Attend global freight forwarding and logistics conferences, exhibitions, and network meetings to promote the company s profile.
  • Develop strategic plans to expand the company s footprint in untapped regions through collaboration with overseas partners.
  • Monitor competitor activity, global trade trends, and international pricing practices to ensure competitiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with logistics network rules, standards, and code of ethics.
  • Prepare and maintain agent contact databases, rate sheets, and updated partner performance reports.
  • Resolve operational disputes, service issues, and payment discrepancies with overseas agents in a timely and professional manne

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in freight forwarding, international shipping, logistics.
  • Strong understanding of global shipping regulations, customs procedures, and documentation.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills for dealing with overseas partners and clients.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple shipments and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in logistics management software and MS Office applications.
  • Ability to work effectively in an office-based setting and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
