Roles & Responsibilities

Packaging Manager


Directly manage two packaging workshop managers.

  • Ensure proper supervision of all staff in the two sugar packaging workshops.
  • Ensure the proper functioning of the two workshops (production performance, deadlines, cost).
  • Ensure the management of packaging and finished product stocks within its scope.
  • Participate in the validation of schedules and ensure their implementation.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure necessary corrective and preventive interventions.
  • Define areas for improvement to optimize workshop performance.
  • establish the job descriptions of its employees as well as the organizational chart of its department.
  • Produce the information necessary for the administrative management of personnel (absences, leave, work accidents, etc.) for calculating payroll and managing the workforce in its department.
  • Ensure the implementation and maintenance of company policy at all levels, including through meetings and training.
  • Ensure compliance with and application of internal procedures.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • University diploma (Bac+5).
  • More than 3 years of experience in a similar position, with significant experience in team management.
  • Good command of the technical aspects related to packaging machines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and behavioral skills (know-how and interpersonal skills).
  • My computer skills: Good command of computer tools (Windows Office, Office 365, etc.).
  • Good command of Arabic and French, with solid operational skills.
  • Rigor and organization.
  • Sense of communication.
  • Capacity is a priority.
  • Leadership and ability to effectively manage teams.
