Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Specialist Paediatric Intensivist to join a well-established Paediatric Intensive Care Unit in Al Ain. The role involves delivering high-quality critical care to pediatric patients under the supervision of Consultant staff, while contributing to safe, evidence-based, and patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide specialist-level care to critically ill pediatric patients admitted to the PICU
• Perform detailed clinical assessments, diagnosis, and management plans in collaboration with Consultants
• Manage ventilated patients, hemodynamic monitoring, and organ support therapies
• Participate in emergency response, rapid response teams, and resuscitation services
• Take part in on-call and shift duties as per departmental rota

Teamwork & Communication

• Work closely with Consultants, residents, nurses, and allied health professionals
• Communicate effectively with patients families regarding treatment plans and progress
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with hospital policies and DOH regulations

Education & Quality Improvement

• Support teaching and supervision of junior doctors and nursing staff
• Participate in audits, morbidity and mortality meetings, and quality improvement initiatives
• Engage in continuing medical education and professional development activities
