Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling cracks, and repairing imperfections
  • Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, doors, trims, and furniture
  • Ensure all finishes meet quality, durability, and appearance standards
  • Match paints and finishes according to hotel design specifications and color guides
  • Remove old paint or wallpaper as required and prepare surfaces for repainting
  • Perform touch-ups and timely repairs to maintain a clean visual presentation
  • Follow safety guidelines when handling paints, solvents, and equipment
  • Coordinate work schedules with maintenance and housekeeping to minimize guest disruption
  • Maintain painting tools and equipment in good working condition
  • Report structural or surface issues requiring further maintenance attention
