Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate painting projects from inception to completion.
  • Ensure quality control standards are maintained throughout the project duration.
  • Allocate resources efficiently to meet project timelines and budgetary constraints.
  • Supervise, mentor, and provide technical guidance to a team of painters.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to understand and meet their requirements.
  • Inspect finished surfaces for any flaws ensuring a top-quality finish.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures within the team.
  • Keep accurate records of material usage and workloads for reporting purposes.
  • Collaborate with contractors and other stakeholders to streamline operations.
  • Coordinate with procurement for the timely supply of paint and equipment.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to align on goals and address challenges.
  • Lead performance reviews and motivate staff to achieve their best potential.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in painting or similar roles.
  • Prior experience in a supervisory or managerial role preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of painting techniques and materials.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills are essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines effectively.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and the ability to enforce them.
