Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are looking for a strong>Client-Side Functional Consultant/strong> to lead ERPNext implementations for our external customers. In this role, you will act as the bridge between our customer's business needs and our technical delivery team. You will be responsible for leading client workshops, gathering requirements, configuring their specific ERPNext environments, and ensuring high customer satisfaction.
Core Responsibilities (Customer-Facing)
Client Onboarding: Lead discovery sessions with customers to understand their unique business models (specifically in industries like Manufacturing).
Requirement Gathering: Translate "customer talk" into structured Functional Requirement Documents (FRD) for our internal developers.
External Configuration: Set up the customer s ERPNext instance, including their Chart of Accounts, custom Print Formats (branded to the client), and specific workflows.
Customer Training: Conduct "Train the Trainer" or end-user sessions via Zoom/Teams to ensure the customer knows how to use the system.
Post-Implementation Support: Act as the primary functional point of contact for the customer during the first 30 days of their Go-Live.
Quality Assurance: Verify that the customizations built by our internal team meet the customer's specific business expectations before demoing them.
- 2-4 years of experience in ERPNext functional consulting.
- Proven track record of configuring and customizing ERPNext modules based on business requirements.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to map business processes to ERP workflows.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team collaboration.
- Experience delivering user training and documentation for ERP systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote, part-time arrangement.
- Familiarity with data migration, validation, and integration processes.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Availability to work part-time hours as agreed upon with the project team.
