Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We have a vacancy for a part-time (13 periods/week) teacher of French in the Upper School for the academic year 2026/27, reporting to the Head of Modern European Foreign Languages.
The appointment will take effect from 1 September 2026.
Interested applicants should forward the following to EMAIL_ADDRESS:
- an application form in English giving email addresses of three referees
- an up to date CV in English
- a letter of application in English addressed to the Principal
- a letter of application in French addressed to the Principal.
Desired Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should have:
- a degree in French Literature,
- a B2 or C1 language proficiency certificate preferably,
- a teaching diploma,
- an experience of teaching French in a school for at least three to four years,
- a well spoken and written French,
- a commitment to student centred education,
- a willingness to contribute to the extra-curricular programme,
- good computer skills and fluent English.
