Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Partner Management
- Identify, engage, and manage relationships with academic institutions and government-supported entrepreneurship entities
- Serve as the point of contact and liaison with partners from universities and ecosystem enablers (e.g., MISK, CODE, Monsha'at)
- Design partnership proposals and MOUs that align mutual goals in startup creation, education, and national development
Program Design & Execution
- Collaborate with internal teams to co-design and launch programs such as hackathons, startup accelerators, founder pipelines, and university-linked innovation challenges
- Coordinate logistics, resources, and stakeholders to execute these initiatives smoothly
Relationship Building
- Represent 1957 Ventures at events, conferences, university forums, and government innovation programs
- Maintain strong networks with key figures in academia, government innovation bodies, and startup ecosystem builders
Communication & Reporting
- Prepare bilingual (Arabic & English) presentation decks, reports, and partnership updates
- Track key partnership KPIs and produce performance reports for internal and external stakeholders
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Public Policy, or a related field Business graduate strongly preferred
- 2+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, ecosystem development, or stakeholder engagement preferably in a startup, VC, university innovation, or government innovation setting
- Fluent in Arabic and English, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal presence and ability to communicate with C-level, government officials, and academic leadership
- Highly organized, proactive, and a fast learner with a passion for innovation
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment, using tools like Notion, Slack, CRM systems, and project management tools
