Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a Parts Picker to join our team and ensure the accurate and efficient delivery, distribution, and maintenance of automotive parts within the warehouse and service operations. This role is vital in supporting smooth workshop and retail counter operations through effective inventory handling and control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, store, and distribute parts to both retail and workshop counters.
  • Read parts orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to identify items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
  • Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or bins according to size, type, style, colour, or product code.
  • Transport materials from receiving areas to storage or designated locations.
  • Assemble and pack customer orders, placing them in pallets or boxes for dispatch.
  • Mark materials with identifying information using stencils, crayons, or labels.
  • Open crates, bales, and other containers using appropriate tools.
  • Record quantities of materials received or distributed accurately.
  • Weigh, count, and verify items for internal distribution in line with company standards.
  • Input and update inventory data using computer systems.
  • Operate a forklift to transport parts within the warehouse safely and efficiently.
  • Prepare parcels and shipments for mailing or delivery.
  • Confirm inventory movement and update records regularly.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Procurement & Stores Manager.

Requirements:

  • Education: Diploma in Material Management or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar warehouse or inventory management role.
  • Languages: Fluency in English is essential; Arabic is preferred.
  • Software Skills: Computer literate with working knowledge of inventory systems.
  • Other Skills: Attention to detail, organization, and knowledge of warehouse operations and safety practices.
