Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage the pastry line, ensuring that all pastry products are prepared and presented according to Qatar Airways standards.
  • Oversee the production of all pastry items, including cakes, pastries, breads, and desserts, ensuring consistency in taste, texture, and presentation.
  • Ensure that all pastry items are produced in sufficient quantities to meet operational requirements, especially during peak periods.
  • Monitor production times and ensure timely preparation and delivery of pastry products to meet catering schedules.
  • Lead, train, and manage a team of pastry chefs and pastry assistants to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Ensure team members are well-trained in pastry techniques, company recipes, food safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Monitor and assess staff performance, providing feedback and conducting regular evaluations.

Desired Candidate Profile
