Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Main responsibilities

  • Analyze the local pricing environment at country level and ensure prices are aligned with global pricing strategy to achieve optimal and targeted prices for all products commercialized by Sanofi across Greater Gulf MCO markets
  • Play an active part within brand teams to achieve brand objectives in relation to international reference pricing, competitive pricing and reimbursement, communicating global pricing strategies within the MCO
  • Evaluate price requests (business cases), assess tender and discount price requests, process price certificates, conduct price risk assessments, and analyze financial impact
  • Support MCO team with price negotiation with governmental stakeholders by providing relevant information and documentation, manage pricing related procedures (SOPs)
  • Design, implement, and manage patient affordability programs to remove financial barriers to medication access, owning program strategy, budget management, and vendor oversight
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Commercial, Market Access, Medical, Legal, Compliance, and Finance teams to ensure regulatory compliance and optimize program performance
  • Maintain and update price-related databases for each market, including governmental price regulations, competitor prices, and list prices of existing products
  • Collect and update price data tariff on global pricing system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all pricing information
  • Analyze program performance, optimize costs, and deliver exceptional patient experiences while measuring success through improved patient access rates, program ROI, and cost efficiency
  • Generate clear, concise, and business-relevant reports that "tell the story" and provide informed interpretations and recommendations beyond the numbers

About you

  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in Pricing, Market Access, and Commercial Functions in the pharmaceutical industry or consultancy. Previous experience in pricing, Market Access, commercial, or both in the pharmaceutical or consultancy industry required. Experience with patient assistance program design and implementation is preferred.
  • Soft and technical skills: Expert in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; strong understanding of healthcare insurance, reimbursement, and pricing principles; knowledge of pharmaceutical industry regulations and compliance requirements; ability to multitask with several initiatives under pressure; quality and timely delivery of reports; insights gained from data analysis; ability to "go beyond the numbers" and provide informed interpretations and recommendations; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Education: University degree required from technical departments such as pharmacy, science, economics, or finance. A background in health economics is a plus.
  • Languages: Fluency in English is required. Arabic is a plus.
