Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, and dressing, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
  • Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure, providing essential data to healthcare professionals.
  • Transport patients to and from different areas within the healthcare facility, prioritizing their safety and comfort during transit.
  • Aid in the administration of medications as directed by nursing staff, ensuring accurate dosages and times are followed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient rooms, ensuring a hygienic environment conducive to healing.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, fostering a trusting relationship that enhances their care experience.
  • Assist in feeding patients who require help, ensuring they receive adequate nutrition while being mindful of their preferences.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for candidates with certifications in nursing assistance or caregiving.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting, ideally within a hospital or long-term care facility, showcasing hands-on patient care.
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid, demonstrating preparedness for emergency situations and patient safety.
  • Proficient in basic medical terminology, enabling effective communication with healthcare professionals and understanding care instructions.
