Roles & Responsibilities

The Lead – Care Manager at One VASCO will be responsible for the end-to-end coordination of medical travel services for patients traveling from their country of origin or to a destination country for medical treatment. Acting as the primary point of contact, this role ensures that patients and their families receive seamless, culturally sensitive, and compassionate care from the first inquiry through post-treatment follow-up. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with international patients, healthcare providers, sales teams, and logistics partners to deliver a superior, stress-free medical journey. This position requires a proactive, empathetic professional who understands both healthcare systems and the nuances of international patient services.


Job Description

Patient Management

• Serve as the single point of contact for patients and their families.

• Explain treatment options, estimated costs, and hospital recommendations shared by the medical team.

• Develop and maintain customized care plans tailored to each patient's medical needs and preferences.

• Coordinate with hospitals to arrange consultations, diagnostics, procedures, and hospital admissions.

Logistics Coordination

• Facilitate visa support, flight bookings, accommodation, airport transfers, and other travel-related services through peers.

• Ensure patients and attendants are fully briefed on their travel itinerary and medical journey.

Communication & Cultural Mediation

• Act as a liaison between patients and Indian healthcare providers.

• Provide translation assistance (Arabic–English) when necessary.

• Ensure clear communication of medical instructions, care plans, and consent documents.

Sales & Case Handover Integration

• Work closely with the Sales Team to understand case leads and patient expectations.

• Educate patients on the treatment plan and journey once leads are converted.

• Maintain accurate records of lead conversions, treatment status, and feedback.

Post-Treatment Support

• Coordinate follow-up consultations (remote or in-person).

• Ensure all discharge summaries, prescriptions, and post-treatment instructions are shared with patients.

• Collect and document patient feedback to improve service quality.

Operational Support & Compliance

· Support in documentation and ensure compliance with company policies.

· Assist in maintaining reports and records of patients

Environment, Social & Governance

· Promote judicious use of natural resources.

Adhere to the organisation's environment, health, and safety policies, objectives, and guidelines


Desired Candidate Profile

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Healthcare Management is a must,

• 2–4 years of experience in international patient coordination, medical tourism, or hospital operations.

• Experience with Middle Eastern patients preferred.

Experience

• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory. Fluency in speaking Arabic is preferred.

• Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Good understanding of healthcare procedures, hospital workflows, and medical documentation.
