Qualifications:

Additional Qualifications:

The purpose of this role is to provide patient education to individuals and groups work with patients to understand programs and treatments options as per the international standards. Assists Senior Patient Educator to develop and implement processes which allow for evaluation of the standards of service provided and to ensure each program has its own devolved, high performing Patient education service consistent with wider HMC policies, standard and protocols.

Medicine Patient Educator: 3-5 years in medical services, with a preference for experience in diabetic education.

Surgery Patient Educator: 3-5 years in surgical services, with a preference for experience in surgical services.
