Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and create accurate garment patterns based on design requirements
- Adjust and modify patterns for fitting and production
- Collaborate with the design team to bring concepts to life
- Create hand sketches (pencil) of dresses and small design details (flowers, embroidery ideas, add-ons)
- Suggest improvements in design details and finishing touches
- Ensure patterns are production-ready and meet quality standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Patronist / Pattern Maker
- Knowledge of garment construction and fabric behavior
- Ability to sketch by hand (pencil), especially decorative elements like flowers and dress details
- Attention to detail and precision
- Creative mindset with a good eye for aesthetics
- Ability to work under deadlines
Desired Candidate Profile
We are looking for a skilled Patronist (Pattern Maker) who also has fashion sketching abilities. The ideal candidate will be able to create accurate garment patterns while also contributing creatively by sketching design details such as floral elements and embellishments on dresses.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in evening wear / couture / embellished dresses
- Background in fashion design or illustration is a plus
