Develop accurate patterns for new garment designs based on technical specifications and design sketches.

• Interpret designer concepts and translate them into functional patterns for mass production.
• Collaborate closely with designers, sample makers, and production teams to ensure pattern accuracy and garment fit.
• Adjust and modify existing patterns to accommodate design changes, fabric variations, and size grading requirements.
• Conduct fittings and make necessary pattern corrections to achieve optimal garment fit and construction.
• Maintain detailed records of pattern versions, modifications, and technical notes for future reference.
• Ensure patterns are compatible with factory production processes and machinery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve pattern-related issues during the sampling and production stages.
• Utilize CAD software and manual drafting techniques to create and digitize patterns.
• Adhere to quality standards and production timelines to meet company objectives.
• Receive production orders and prepare the cutting plan accordingly, including nesting the attached model.
• Create and maintain a complete order file and share it with the Planning & Follow-up Department.
• Print markers and submit them to the Cutting Department.
• Prepare and print samples, follow up during sewing, printing, and finishing, then send samples to the client for approval.
• Record all data at each production step, including dates, times, and required order quantities.
• Register required samples and follow up until completion.
• Create patterns based on provided designs and technical specifications.
• Ensure efficient fabric utilization and plan fabric layout to achieve minimum waste.
• Verify that patterns and markers meet required standards and client expectations.
• Handle design or production issues quickly and effectively.
• Use specialized pattern making and marker software with high proficiency.
• Communicate with clients via email regarding sample approval or rejection.
• Obtain model approval from Quality and Production departments through marker printing.
• Prepare trial lays to assess production feasibility and identify responsible teams and operation methods for new models.
• Analyze samples in terms of fabric type, GSM (weight per square meter), and prepare a technical sketch showing the overall appearance and size chart.
