Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
-Interpret design sketches and technical drawings to create accurate patterns.
-Develop and adjust patterns for new garment models and product lines.
-Manage the cutting process ensure patterns are properly laid out for efficient fabric use.
-Supervise prototype and sample development, making corrections as needed.
-Collaborate with designers to translate creative ideas into manufacturable garments.
-Conduct fittings and implement necessary pattern modifications for proper fit and balance.
-Maintain pattern archives and ensure version control for each model.
-Prepare technical documentation and specifications for production.
-Work closely with production teams to ensure smooth transition from design to mass production.
-Ensure quality and consistency across all sizes and models.
-Measuring before and after to avoid out of tolerance mesure points
Desired Candidate Profile
-Strong knowledge of garment construction and textile properties
-Proficiency in pattern-making software (Gerber, Lectra, Optitex, Polypattern , ect.. )
-Skilled in manual pattern drafting, grading, and fitting adjustments
-Understanding of fabric cutting techniques and production processes
-Attention to detail, precision, and ability to visualize 2D patterns in 3D form
-Strong collaboration and communication skills with designers, sample makers, and production teams
-Ability to analyze and correct fit issues during sample reviews
