Roles & Responsibilities


Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll & General Accountant to manage high-volume payroll processing and oversee general accounting functions within a staffing company. The role requires strong knowledge of UAE payroll regulations, WPS, and accounting standards.


Payroll Responsibilities:

  • Process monthly payroll for employees

  • Ensure compliance with WPS and UAE Labour Law

  • Calculate overtime, leave salary, EOSB, and final settlements

  • Reconcile payroll reports with finance records

  • Handle payroll queries and discrepancies


Accounting Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable

  • Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger entries

  • Prepare monthly financial reports and payroll journals

  • Assist in VAT filing and audit support

  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • 3–6 years’ experience in payroll and accounting within a UAE staffing/outsourcing company

  • Strong knowledge of WPS, UAE Labour Law, and VAT regulations

  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel

  • High accuracy, confidentiality, and ability to meet deadlines
