Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Payroll & Personnel Executive is responsible for managing employee compensation, records, and compliance with Egyptian labor and tax regulations. This role ensures accurate payroll processing, timely government submissions, and proper documentation of all personnel-related matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and process monthly payroll based on attendance, leave records, and contractual terms
Calculate and apply statutory deductions, including social insurance, income tax, and employer contributions
Ensure timely payment and reporting of income tax and other government dues
Maintain accurate personnel files, including contracts, IDs, and social insurance forms
Submit required documentation to government authorities, including Social Insurance (Forms 1, 2, 6) and Labor Office updates
Attend to Social Insurance and Labor Office matters in person when required, ensuring compliance and timely resolution
Coordinate salary changes, promotions, and terminations with HR and Finance
Handle onboarding and offboarding documentation in line with labor law requirements
Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, benefits, and employment status
Desired Candidate Profile
Education & Experience:
Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in payroll and personnel administration
Prior experience with Egypt s labor law and social insurance procedures is essential
Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel
Familiarity with Egyptian social insurance forms (Form 1, 2, 6) and submission protocols
Solid understanding of income tax calculations and government payment procedures
Experience handling attendance systems and integrating data into payroll
Compliance & Coordination:
Ability to manage government submissions and attend Social Insurance and Labor Office visits when required
Skilled in maintaining accurate personnel records and ensuring legal documentation is up to date
Capable of coordinating with HR, Finance, and external authorities to ensure full compliance
Soft Skills:
High attention to detail and confidentiality
Strong organizational and time management skills
Clear communication and ability to respond to employee inquiries professionally
Proactive problem-solving and follow-through
