Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an engaging physical education curriculum that caters to the diverse needs and skill levels of students.
  • Teach a variety of sports and physical activities, emphasizing teamwork, respect, and personal excellence.
  • Create a safe, supportive, and motivating environment for students during physical activities.
  • Evaluate and assess student performance, providing constructive feedback to encourage growth and improvement.
  • Organize and oversee school sports events and extracurricular activities, promoting student involvement and school spirit.
  • Incorporate health education into the curriculum to promote overall wellness and fitness.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to align physical education with the school s broader educational goals.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.

  • Teaching certification in Physical Education is preferred.
  • Experience teaching PE, preferably in a bilingual or French curriculum environment.
  • Strong understanding of sports and physical fitness principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students.
  • Passion for promoting health, fitness, and well-being among students.
  • Immediate availability is required for this position.
