Roles & Responsibilities

Key responsibilities / accountabilities/strong>
  • Assessing and diagnosing the specialist physiotherapy needs for children (depending on setting),and analyzing the appropriate clinical intervention for the variety of childhood conditions referred to the service.
  • Setting realistic goals, which can be measured and are compliant, with the functional needs of the children and families, depending on the needs.
  • Providing continual reassessment and review of these goals on the needs of the children and environment change.
Competencies/strong>
  • Maintain a high level of organization for file maintenance, daily, weekly and monthly record keeping.
  • Ability to work in both multi-disciplinary and multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Evidence of an understanding of the practical application of clinical governance.
  • IT skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable.

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum qualifications/strong>

  • Bachelor s Degree in Physical Therapy or in any related field.
Experience/strong>
  • At least 2 years of work experience as a PT specializing in Pediatric Physical Therapy.
