Roles & Responsibilities

A government hospital in the Taif region is seeking a Consultant in Pediatric Intensive Care (PICU) to manage critically ill infants and children requiring advanced life support and intensive monitoring. The consultant will work within a multidisciplinary critical care team to provide high-quality, evidence-based care for complex pediatric cases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive care to critically ill children in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
  • Manage patients requiring mechanical ventilation, advanced monitoring, and life-support therapies.
  • Coordinate care with pediatric subspecialists, surgeons, and anesthesiologists.
  • Participate in emergency response and critical care protocols.
  • Support clinical training, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
