Roles & Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat dental and oral problems in children from early childhood to adolescence, including treating cavities, extracting teeth when necessary, applying fluoride and protective sealants, and correcting harmful oral habits. Also provides guidance to parents on caring for their children s teeth and works on psychologically preparing the child to undergo dental treatment without fear.
