Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Penetration Tester to join our cybersecurity team. The successful candidate will be responsible for simulating cyber attacks on our computer systems and networks to test their defenses and identify vulnerabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on computer systems, networks, and web applications.

2. Identify and exploit vulnerabilities to simulate real-world attacks.

3. Analyze and report on test results, including identified vulnerabilities and recommended remediation steps.

4. Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of threat landscapes, attack vectors, and emerging threats.

5. Collaborate with development teams to implement secure coding practices and remediate identified vulnerabilities.

6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, threats, and technologies.

7. Participate in incident response and threat hunting activities.

8. Develop and maintain penetration testing tools and methodologies.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.

2. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in penetration testing or related field.

3. Proven experience with penetration testing tools and methodologies, such as Nmap, Metasploit, and Burp Suite.

4. Strong understanding of networking protocols, operating systems, and web applications.

5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

6. Effective communication and reporting skills.

7. Industry-recognized certifications, such as OSCP, CEH, or GPEN.
