Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
DUTIES:
- Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring that safety is the highest priority in the workplace.
- Comply with all Environmental Health & Safety and Quality Assurance requirements and goals. Provide information and materials to these divisions as necessary to ensure adequate and legal documentation.
- Provide assistance as needed to stations to improve performance and efficiencies.
- Ensure all contractual requirements, to include CDRLs, are properly tracked and met.
- Ensure that the program's schedule is maintained and followed.
- Follow established policies and procedures; determines and recommends potential enhancements.
- Assist with the management of the annual performance evaluation process and cyclical activities.
- Consolidate data and submit to Performance Manager for analysis; assist in preparation of reports and analysis.
- Compile site data and prepare CDRLs deliverables for Performance Manager.
- Perform analysis on key metrics/processes, and recommend process improvements that maximize efficiencies.
- Ensure that performance discussions are documented and implemented accordingly.
- Assist in communicating measurement standards and key performance indicators to all members of the organization.
- Monitor and verify the integrity of the data to be reported and review with local management before distributing.
- Maintain and update company competencies at all levels and ensure effective utilization of the competencies and desired behaviors.
- Remain up-to-date on latest performance management, training and development, and career management issues.
- Assist in reviewing and updating performance appraisal tools and technologies.
- Identify training needs and assist with performing any needed training Participates during conference calls.
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum Acceptable Experience Level: Four (4) years experience in performance management or comparable role.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite products, including Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, Access, and Project.
- Familiarity with Operations and Maintenance Support Services and have an understanding of Project/Program Operations and Statement of Work.
- Training in risk management.
- Expert level Administrative and Management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with multi-national staff.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of principles and processes involved in supporting contract responsibilities at an overseas facility.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules.
- Cross-cultural sensitivity with an international perspective.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to become an active and functioning member of a team.
- Ability to be innovative and be an agent for change.
- Expert communication skills to facilitate and disseminate information.
- Education: A high school diploma or GED. A two or four year degree in business, human resources, public administration or a related field, or experience managing a small workforce is preferred.
- Passport, Licenses and Certifications : As part of pre-contingency requirements, by the time the visa process starts, candidates must possess a valid passport with a minimum of 18 months remaining to expiration date with 8 blank pages.
- Valid drivers license.
- Security Vetting: Already possess a US Government issued security clearance or Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) or be able to obtain a favorable MRPT certification or US Government clearance prior to being hired is required for the position. Must maintain eligibility at the required certification or clearance level for the duration of the contract.
- Language Skills: Strong, professional, oral and written English communication skills.
- Citizenship: Must be eligible for US Government Clearance.
- Medical: Successfully complete and pass the medical and dental examinations as required by Amentum and our customer for deployment to Iraq. Must maintain physical and dental requirements for duration of deployment.

Amentum
The Performance Management Specialist will be based at one of three Amentum sites in Iraq and serve the Operations and Maintenance Support Services (OMSS) contract in support of the U.S. Department of State. This position will be responsible for the tracking and management of contract performance, utilizing resources to accomplish operational requirements. The Performance Management Specialist will report to the Performance Manager in the management of multiple geographical sites and functions to support critical client mission activities of this contract.
