Role Purpose
- To ensure that all work activities requiring permits (hot work, confined space entry, electrical isolation, excavation, etc.) are carried out safely and in compliance with Saudi Aramco s strict safety standards.
- Serve as the authorized representative who receives and manages permits on behalf of the work crew.

Key Responsibilities
- Permit Management
- Receive, review, and understand work permits issued by Aramco.
- Verify that all permit conditions and safety precautions are implemented before work begins.
- Ensure permits are displayed at the job site and remain valid throughout the activity.
- Safety Compliance
- Conduct site inspections to confirm hazards are controlled (gas testing, barricades, lockout/tagout).
- Ensure workers are briefed on permit conditions, hazards, and emergency procedures.
- Stop work immediately if unsafe conditions arise or permit requirements are violated.
- Coordination & Communication
- Act as the link between Aramco permit issuers, supervisors, and the work crew.
- Report progress, issues, or incidents to the permit issuer and site supervisor.
- Coordinate with other departments (maintenance, operations, HSE) to avoid conflicts.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain records of permits, safety checks, and compliance reports.
- Ensure permits are closed properly after work completion and site restoration.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Certification: Must be Saudi Aramco certified as a Work Permit Receiver (WPR).
- Experience: Prior experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial projects.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of Aramco safety standards, hazard identification, and risk assessment.
- Skills: Communication, attention to detail, ability to enforce safety rules under pressure.
