Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough client assessments to develop personalized treatment plans that address specific issues and goals.
- Utilize a variety of massage techniques, such as Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage, to effectively alleviate pain and promote relaxation.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment that adheres to health and sanitation regulations.
- Educate clients on self-care techniques, stretches, and wellness practices to enhance their overall well-being.
- Uphold ethical standards and maintain client confidentiality to foster trust and a positive therapeutic relationship.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Must possess a recognized certification from a reputable massage therapy program.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in a spa setting, demonstrating a strong client satisfaction record.
- Demonstrated ability to perform various massage modalities such as deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and prenatal massage.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients quickly.
- Possess a compassionate attitude with strong emotional intelligence to understand and cater to clients' needs.
- Physical stamina and strength are essential, as the role often requires extended periods of standing and manual dexterity.
- Fluency in English is required.
