Petro Rabigh Careers
Established in 2005, Petro Rabigh is a joint venture between Saudi Aramco and Sumitomo Chemical. Located in Rabigh, Saudi Arabia, the aim of the project was to build integrated oil refining and petrochemical operations by upgrading Saudi Aramco’s oil refinery and constructing a new petrochemical complex. The company has 23 plants capable of producing 18.4 million tons per annum of petroleum-based products and 2.4 million tons per annum of ethylene and propylene-based derivatives. Petro Rabigh manufactures plastics called polymers and monomers. These are further converted into plastics, detergents, lubricants, resins, coolants, anti-freeze, paint, carpets, rope, clothing, shampoo, auto interiors, epoxy glue, insulation, film, fibres, household appliances, packaging, candles, film, pipes, etc.

It has also established The Petro Rabigh Community, a 3,000-acre self-contained site located on the Red Sea, for its employees. Plans are underway to almost double the size of the plant in the coming years which will result in increased employment opportunities.
