Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Dispense medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring adherence to Malaysian pharmaceutical regulations and guidelines while based in Dubai.
  • Verify prescriptions for authenticity, dosage, and potential drug interactions, with a focus on medications commonly used in Malaysia.
  • Provide patient counseling on medication usage, side effects, and storage, tailored to cultural sensitivities relevant to Malaysian patients.
  • Manage and maintain pharmacy inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storing medications, considering the specific needs of Malaysian healthcare.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) degree or equivalent, recognized by Malaysian Pharmacy Board.
  • Holds a valid Pharmacist license or registration in Malaysia, or is eligible for registration.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a registered Pharmacist, with exposure to Malaysian healthcare practices.
  • Experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting, with experience dispensing medications commonly used in Malaysia.
