Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist licensed pharmacists in dispensing prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately and efficiently.
- Support the preparation and labeling of pharmaceutical products in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date inventory of medications and pharmacy supplies.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering inquiries and guiding customers on medication usage and general health advice.
- Process sales transactions and manage cash register operations in the pharmacy.
- Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the pharmacy workspace and shelves.
- Assist in receiving, unpacking, and storing incoming pharmaceutical shipments.
- Monitor medication expiry dates and remove outdated products from inventory.
- Collaborate with pharmacists and other team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and legal requirements in pharmacy practice.
- Minimum of 1-8 years of experience in a pharmacy or healthcare environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
- Familiarity with pharmacy operations and medication handling procedures.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with pharmacy management systems.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and patient privacy.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required.
- Demonstrated reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to established protocols.
