Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.
Provide expert advice and counseling to patients on the proper use of medications, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and medication therapy management.
Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulatory standards.
Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and storing pharmaceutical products to ensure availability and minimize waste.
Conduct medication reviews and support adherence programs to improve patient outcomes.
Ensure the pharmacy environment is clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
Participate in continuous professional development and stay informed about new medications, therapies, and industry trends.
Assist in training and mentoring junior staff or pharmacy interns as needed.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and empathy.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience as a Pharmacist.
Demonstrated knowledge of pharmaceutical practices, drug interactions, and patient counseling.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in dispensing medications.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, on-site environment.
Familiarity with pharmacy management systems and electronic health records.
Understanding of regulatory requirements and ethical standards in pharmacy practice.
Proven ability to manage inventory and maintain accurate records.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
