Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and provide clear instructions to patients regarding dosage, side effects, and storage.
- Offer expert advice on over-the-counter medications, health supplements, and wellness products to customers.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceutical products, new drugs, and industry regulations.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, ethical, and safety requirements in the handling and dispensing of medications.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and insurance providers to optimize patient care and resolve medication-related issues.
- Monitor inventory levels, manage stock rotation, and ensure the proper storage of pharmaceuticals and controlled substances.
- Conduct regular checks for expired or damaged medications and ensure their safe disposal.
- Educate customers on health management, disease prevention, and the proper use of medical devices.
- Support the implementation of promotional campaigns and in-store health initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, patient profiles, and pharmacy transactions.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
- Valid license to practice pharmacy in Egypt.
- 1-6 years of experience in a pharmacy or retail healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, drug interactions, and dosage requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer service.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in dispensing medications.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with pharmacy management systems and point-of-sale software.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.
- Flexibility to work full-time, under various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
