Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret prescription orders to ensure accuracy and appropriateness for patient needs.
  • Provide expert medication counseling to patients, addressing potential side effects and interactions tailored to individual health profiles.
  • Conduct thorough medication reviews, identifying and resolving drug therapy problems to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive medication management plans.
  • Stay updated on pharmaceutical advancements, ensuring the pharmacy's practices are aligned with the latest standards in patient care.
  • Manage inventory effectively, ensuring the availability of essential medications while minimizing waste.
  • Oversee pharmacy support staff, providing training and leadership to enhance team performance and service quality.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • B pharm, M Pharma & Pharm D degree from an accredited institution, demonstrating a strong foundation in pharmaceutical sciences.

  • Active pharmacist license ( DHA/MOH/DOH)

  • Minimum of 2 years of pharmacy experience in a hospital or retail setting, showcasing real-world application of pharmaceutical knowledge.

  • Fluency in English

  • Exceptional communication abilities, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with patients and healthcare teams.

  • Proficient in using pharmacy management software and electronic health records, streamlining workflow and documentation.
